Former adult film star #EmilyWillis’ family wins a $3 million settlement after a #LosAngeles judge approved the payout following a lawsuit that alleged she was left permanently incapacitated after a medical emergency at a #Malibu rehab center.

Litzy Lara Banuelos, known professionally as Emily Willis, entered rehab seeking help for k-tamine addiction but suffered irreversible brain damage after her brain was deprived of oxygen during her stay at Summit Malibu in 2024.

Banuelos, now 27, can no longer move her body and remains in what her attorney described as a profoundly incapacitated state. Court filings say she occasionally opens her eyes or grunts but does not consistently respond to people around her.
