BREAKING: We just sued the Trump administration to protect America's wildlife.

Last week, the Trump administration stripped away endangered species protections for places where endangered species live by repealing their regulatory definition of "harm" under the Endangered Species Act.

By repealing this definition, it paves the way for habitat modification or degradation by extractive industries — even if doing so kills or injured imperiled wildlife.

This move was illegal. So we're taking them to court alongside our allies to fight for imperiled species and their homes.

The Trump administration thinks their homes don't matter, but we know that you cannot protect a species without protecting where they live, eat and sleep. 

We're fighting for Florida manatees, grizzly bears, northern-spotted owls, Hawaiian monk seals, Canada lynx and more.
