I know this is probably a long shot… but sometimes that’s exactly why you take it. A few months ago, I was invited to audition for a movie with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
I don’t think I  get the role. But one thing I’ve learned is that “not this time” doesn’t always mean “never.”
So here’s my shot.
Hey @therock if you ever see this, I’d love for you to coach me for one day at UFC BJJ. @projectrock 
I haven’t registered yet.
I’m gonna give you a little time before I do. 😅
Long before I was the Mediocre Jiu-Jitsu Kid, I was “The Pebble.” I’ve been a fan for as long as I can remember. I train in Project Rock gear, use your products, and they’ve been with me through practices, tournaments, and a lot of hard days. Getting to share the mats with you would mean more than you probably know. Not because I think it’d make me a better athlete overnight.
Because it’d be one of those memories I’d carry with me forever.
I’ve learned that the biggest opportunities usually start with someone being brave enough to ask.
So if there’s something you’ve been wanting to do, don’t talk yourself out of it before anyone else gets the chance. Ask the question. Send the message. Take your shot.
You never know where it might lead.
And if this somehow makes its way to @therock I’ll see you on the mats.
