5 silly garden hacks that actually work! 🍻🧼🌿  🌿 Basil is a natural repellent of mosquitoes so if you’re out late working in the garden grab a few leaves and rub them on your skin to ward of blood sucking pests.  🧼 Before digging in the soil rub your fingernails across a bar of soap to fill the game in the fingers. Then when you’re done just wash your hands and your fingernails wont be full of dirt!  🍅 Tomatoes need good pollination and sometimes they need a little extra help. A little vibrating tool like a toothbrush can help spread pollen and increase yield.  🍺 Crack open a cold beer in the garden not for yourself, but for snails and slugs. Pour some beer in a cup you’ve buried in the ground and the yeast will attract them into your homemade trap.  🍅 The best way to keep your tomatoes from rotting is by storing them with the stem side down.
