The ball zips off the turf, slide tackles go further, and if you’re thirsty, just tilt your head back!

Coaches, your energy and enthusiasm is contagious. When it rains or gets cold, make sure you bring the energy!

In my opinion, coaches should avoid wearing their hood up as it can make you seem less approachable. It’s harder to hear the children and connect with them when you coach.

Also, keeping your hands in your pockets can send the wrong message to children and parents. Body language matters!

Your session is only an hour, maybe 90 minutes max. Bring your best self. Lead with energy. Make it fun, whatever the weather.
