This Memorial Day weekend, our Abilene Hockey family had the opportunity to compete in a red, white, and blue tournament — and today especially, we take time to reflect on what that freedom truly means. 🇺🇸🏒

We are incredibly thankful for the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice, and for the families who continue to carry that sacrifice every day. Here in Abilene, so many of our families are connected to our armed services in one way or another, which makes days like today hit close to home.

This weekend we shared the rink with service members who played their hearts out, competed with pride, and reminded us that hockey is more than just a game — it’s community, teamwork, resilience, and freedom.

As our league continues to grow, we never take for granted the opportunity to play the sport we love.

Today we remember. We honor. We are grateful.
