As she heads into her senior season at Utah, Ella has established herself as one of the nation's most consistent gymnasts, earning seven NCAA All-American honors and proving that hard work always speaks for itself. But ask Ella what drives her, and she'll tell you she prefers being the underdog. "I like being more of the underdog... I can just kind of work in silence and show people what I can do. I like surprising people." That mindset has fueled every step of her journey. Even before she competes, she embraces what makes her unique by taking anatomy tests to calm her nerves, stay focused, and support her mental health.
