Known as Anti-AI fonts, these typefaces are designed to confuse AI-powered Optical Character Recognition (OCR) systems while remaining readable to the human eye.

At first glance, the letters look completely normal.

But each character contains tiny distortions, irregular shapes, and subtle design changes that humans naturally ignore—but AI models often struggle to interpret accurately.

Why does this matter?

Today, AI systems can instantly scan books, websites, documents, and images to extract text. As AI becomes more powerful, some designers and researchers are exploring ways to protect digital content from being easily scraped or copied by automated systems.
