Let’s talk college brand deals 🤑  One of the questions I get asked the most is how I landed so many partnerships while attending Cal Poly, which is a a school that isn’t on a lot of brands’ target campus lists. I learned, it wasn’t because brands were avoiding Cal Poly. It was because there weren’t many creators consistently making college-focused content there….so I wanted to changed that. I posted my college life, campus events, move-in days, study routines, dorm life, and everything in between. Instead of trying to look like everyone else, I became the creator brands thought of when they wanted authentic Cal Poly content. That consistency led to everything from gifted collaborations to paid campaigns, including one of my biggest brand deals, a four-figure partnership I never imagined I’d land while I was still in college. So if you’re at a smaller school or one that isn’t typically on brands’ radar, don’t let that stop you. You might actually have less competition. Own your campus, create the content you wish you had seen, and let brands find you. most importantly, forget what people say about your content!  Your school doesn’t have to be “brand famous.” You just have to become the creator people associate with it.
