A frightening scene unfolded outside Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s East Hampton home after a 63-year-old man allegedly drove at a high speed and crashed through the property’s closed security gate.

The man reportedly appeared confused following the incident and was restrained by security before police arrived. 

Authorities said no weapons, threatening messages or evidence suggesting that the famous couple was specifically targeted were found. He was arrested and charged with criminal mischief and criminal trespass as the investigation continues. 

It has not been confirmed whether Beyoncé, Jay-Z or their children were inside the home at the time. Thankfully, no injuries to the family have been reported.
