Downtown Ottawa has seen two seperate SERIOUS stabbing cases in less than 24 hours‼️😨💔

A woman in her 20s was rushed to hospital Tuesday afternoon after being found with stab wounds near Rideau Street and Cumberland Street. 

She was initially reported in critical condition before police later confirmed her injuries were non-life-threatening. Investigators say the incident began just two blocks away near Cumberland Street and Daly Avenue, and no arrests have been announced.

The incident comes less than 24 hours after a man was critically injured during an attempted robbery near George Street and Dalhousie Street in the ByWard Market Monday night. 

He was taken to hospital in life-threatening condition after being stabbed with an edged weapon. Police are still searching for the suspect in that case.
