Canada unofficially secured two more spots for the 2027 Pan American Games following the Sailing Grand Slam event, the 2026 Long Beach Class Regatta, held July 13–26 in California. In men’s Formula Kite, Nathan Pearce finished 21st and took third place among Pan American nations, with the top four countries earning a spot. In women’s Formula Kite, Emily Bugeja was the top Canadian with a 19th-place finish, which also earned her third place among Pan American nations, with the top four countries earning a spot. Canada currently holds three unofficial spots for the 2027 Pan American Games, including one in Lightning.

Le Canada a obtenu non officiellement deux autres places pour les Jeux panaméricains de 2027 à l'issue de l'étape du Grand Chelem de voile, la régate des classes de Long Beach 2026, qui s'est déroulée du 13 au 26 juillet en Californie.
