A total of 28 Canadian sailors took part in the ILCA North American Championship held July 9-12 in San Pedro, California (USA), where this class competition will be held at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games. Amongst them, six Canadian Sailing Team members were in action. In ILCA 6, Victoria Coady was the best Canadian with a 35th position out of 99 sailors. In ILCA 7, Liam Bruce registered the best Canadian performance with a 36th place-finish out of 71 participants. Finally, in ILCA 4, Nathan Li (RVanYC) registered a 33rd position out of 55 athletes.
