France looked like they had the football version of the Brooklyn Nets Big 3 on paper 😭🔥

Mbappé, Olise and Dembélé is the kind of attacking trio that makes you think no defense should be able to survive. Pure speed, creativity, flair and finishing all in one front line. Just off talent alone, it felt like France had one of the most dangerous groups in the world. 🇫🇷⚽

But sometimes talent alone doesn’t guarantee the ending people expect. France still got knocked off by Spain, just like that loaded Brooklyn Nets trio still ended up losing to Milwaukee. Two stacked teams, two crazy talented groups, and still no trophy to show for it when it mattered most.

That’s really what makes the comparison hit. On paper, both teams looked unfair. Both had elite star power. Both had everybody believing they were supposed to finish the job. But in the end, they became another reminder that having the most talent doesn’t always mean you win it all.

Some teams are remembered for the potential. Some are remembered for what they actually accomplished. France’s trio and the Nets Big 3 definitely had the talent — but both ended up as examples of talented teams that just didn’t win. 💔👀
