🇺🇸🦃 When selecting and positioning artwork, consider these two fundamental principles to achieve a visually stunning and harmonious interior:

🎀 Shape Matching: The form of the artwork should complement the shape of the wall space it inhabits. 

A rectangular canvas, for example, is a classic choice for a rectangular wall space, while a square one can complement a square nook. 

🎀 Scale and Proportion: The artwork’s size should be carefully considered in relation to the objects below it. 

A common guideline is to make the artwork approximately two-thirds the length of the item beneath it. 

This creates a pleasing visual hierarchy, drawing the eye to the artwork while maintaining a balanced composition. 🇺🇸🦃
