I am 50. My friends told me I needed to grow out of this raving phase. So I followed the dream, went to Burning Man, and DJ'd five different shows.

Here is what I learned. Passion does not expire. Music does not care how old you are. And dreams do not retire just because other people think they should.

The truth is I feel more alive now than ever. More energy, more presence, more purpose.

So maybe I did not grow out of it. I grew into it.
