The Race of Life: I Said Yes to My Purpose

Let it be known: the Creator of all things knows my heart and hears my mind completely. Even when the noise gets loud, nothing is hidden from the Most High. As it is written in Psalm 139:2, "You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar." 

There was a veil, a higher view, where God showed me His perspective and I saw what He wanted me to do. I said, "Yes, I will do your purpose with my music 🎶." I am me, and I chose this life. I said yes to my purpose. 

I did not know I would be held accountable for everything, but this is me taking accountability for my shht I did. I am convicted in spirit. When I did not comply with God's will, I fell to temptation. I asked God to make me stronger and not lead me into temptation, not fully understanding how much I loved Him. But I do still love Him. 

I have been forgiven by so many, so I extended that exact grace to others, which was challenging to say the least. Through my failures—and there were many not noted, because you only saw my wins—I had to decide if that would be my ending. But I refused to quit. As Isaiah 40:31 says, "But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles." I mounted up on wings of eagles with a new energy to continue the race of life. 

When the Creator showed me that He carries the pressure and weight of this entire world, I said, "Thank God that is not on me." All I was called to do was to sing. The Creator took care of the rest. 

I completely submitted to the One who proves all my thoughts and dreams have come true, giving me all the desires of my heart as promised in Psalm 37:4. I prayed for the good life of the world and tried to be the change I wished to see. 

To protect every move and step I make today, I walk under the shield of Psalm 121:8: "The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore." My steps are ordered, my music is my offering, and my path is secure.
