Over the past two inspiring weeks, dancers at our Joffrey Las Vegas Ballet Summer Intensive immersed themselves in a training experience that honored the traditions of classical ballet while embracing the artistry and versatility required of today's performers. From daily technique and pointe classes to classical variations and contemporary ballet exploration, each day challenged students to refine their technical foundation, expand their movement vocabulary, and deepen their artistic expression.⁠

Presented in Artistic Collaboration with Cirque du Soleil Casting cirquedusoleilcasting, this unique intensive gave dancers the opportunity to train with accomplished professionals who brought real-world experience, thoughtful mentorship, and a passion for developing the next generation of artists. Under the artistic direction of Maximilien Baud maximilienbaud and Matthew Prescott, students grew not only as dancers, but as confident, curious, and well-rounded artists ready to take the next steps in their training.⁠
