We’ve been taught that a tidy house is the sign of a tidy soul.

That if we just worked a little harder, stayed up a little later, or moved a little faster, we’d finally be "enough."

But there is a ministry in the unmade bed.

It’s the ministry of grace for the undone.

Your worth is not found in your productivity.
Your value is not measured by the state of your laundry room.
Your identity is not a checklist.

When we leave the bed rumpled and the dishes for later, we aren't being lazy.
Sometimes, we are being faithful.

We are choosing presence over perfection.
We are choosing rest over the frantic race to prove ourselves.

Jesus didn't call the weary to come and work more.
He called the weary to come and find rest.

"In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety." : Psalm 4:8

Let the bed stay unmade for a moment.
Exhale.
He loves you in the mess just as much as in the order.
