We often wait for a "big moment" to prove our faith.

We look for the stage, the crowd, or the grand gesture.

But most of the time, the Kingdom of God is built in the quiet corners of our own homes.

I call it the Ministry of the Light Switch.

It isn't flashy.
It doesn't get applause.

It’s the choice to be kind when you’re exhausted.
It’s the decision to listen instead of being right.
It’s the prayer whispered while doing the dishes.

Every time we choose grace over grumbling, we flip a switch.
We push back the shadows of stress and friction.

Matthew 5:16 reminds us: “In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”

Your "good works" don't have to change the world today.
They just need to change the atmosphere of your living room.

Your home is your first mission field.
The ordinary is where the holy happens.
