Here is everything you need to know to make the most of the savings from Friday, July 17 to midnight on Sunday, July 19: 👇 
 
What is tax-exempt? 
👕 Clothing: Items priced at less than $156 each. 
✏️️ School Supplies: School supplies, art supplies, or instructional materials priced at $78 or less per item. 
📚 Books: Any books priced at $47 or less each. 
💻 Technology: Single purchases of computers, computer supplies, or software priced at $1,173 or less. 
 
Keep in mind: 
👤 You don’t have to be a student to participate—anyone can shop tax-free! 
❌ Items like furniture, jewelry, sunglasses, tools, sports equipment, + cell phones are excluded from the tax holiday. 
💰 Save on the state's 4% sales tax, Jefferson County's 1% sales tax + City of Birmingham's 4% sales tax. Local sales tax may still apply
