હિમાચલ પ્રદેશના કિન્નૌર જિલ્લામાંથી કુદરતી આફતના ચિંતાજનક અહેવાલો સામે આવી રહ્યા છે. કિન્નૌરમાં ભારે વરસાદ બાદ ગાર્ગે નાળામાં અચાનક પૂર (ફ્લેશ ફ્લડ) આવતાં ચારેય તરફ ભારે નુકસાન થયું છે. માસ્તારંગ નજીક આવેલા ITBP કેમ્પ પાસે ક્લાઉડબર્સ્ટ (વાદળ ફાટવા) જેવી સ્થિતિ સર્જાતા પાણીના જોરદાર પ્રવાહ સાથે કાદવ, કાટમાળ અને વિશાળ પથ્થરો મુખ્ય રસ્તા પર ધસી આવ્યા છે. આ ભયાનક તબાહીને કારણે સાંગલા-ચિતકુલ માર્ગ સંપૂર્ણપણે બંધ થઈ ગયો છે અને વાહનવ્યવહાર સંપૂર્ણપણે ઠપ થઈ ગયો છે. સતત વરસી રહેલા વરસાદને લીધે જિલ્લામાં અનેક સ્થળોએ ભૂસ્ખલનની ઘટનાઓ પણ સામે આવી રહી છે, જેને પગલે સ્થાનિક પ્રશાસન એલર્ટ મોડ પર છે અને લોકોને બિનજરૂરી મુસાફરી ટાળવા તેમજ સુરક્ષિત સ્થળોએ રહેવા અપીલ કરવામાં આવી છે.
