નીટ (NEET) પેપર લીક મામલે દિલ્હીના જંતર-મંતર ખાતે છેલ્લા ૨૦ દિવસથી પણ વધુ સમયથી ભૂખ હડતાળ પર બેઠેલા સોનમ વાંગચુકને લઈને એક મોટા અપડેટ સામે આવ્યા છે. હાઈકોર્ટના કડક નિર્દેશ અને તબીબી સલાહને આધારે દિલ્હી પોલીસ દ્વારા કાર્યવાહી કરીને વાંગચુકને જંતર-મંતરથી ખસેડી સફદરજંગ હોસ્પિટલમાં દાખલ કરવામાં આવ્યા છે. આ તરફ સોનમ વાંગચુકના પત્નીએ તંત્રને વિનંતી કરી છે કે પરિવારની લેખિત સંમતિ વિના તેમને કોઈપણ પ્રકારની તબીબી સારવાર આપવામાં ન આવે. બીજી તરફ, વાંગચુકની આ પ્રકારે કરાયેલી અટકાયત અને પોલીસ એક્શનને લઈને દેશના વિપક્ષી નેતાઓએ સરકાર અને તંત્ર સામે આકરી ટીકા કરી છે.
