અમદાવાદમાં ભવ્ય રથયાત્રાની પૂર્ણાહુતિ બાદ અમદાવાદ મ્યુનિસિપલ કોર્પોરેશન (AMC) દ્વારા પ્રશંસનીય કામગીરી હાથ ધરવામાં આવી છે. રથયાત્રા પૂર્ણ થતાંની સાથે જ AMC તંત્ર દ્વારા રાતોરાત વિશાળ સફાઈ અભિયાન શરૂ કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું, જેમાં ૧૦૦૦થી વધુ સફાઈ કર્મચારીઓની ફોજ મેદાનમાં ઉતારાઈ હતી. યાત્રાના સમગ્ર ૨૨ કિલોમીટર લાંબા રૂટની સંપૂર્ણ સફાઈ કરીને સવાર સુધીમાં આખો માર્ગ ચકાચક બનાવી દેવાયો હતો. આ કામગીરી દરમિયાન એકત્ર કરાયેલો પ્લાસ્ટિક અને કાગળનો કચરો યોગ્ય રિસાઇકલિંગ માટે મોકલી આપવામાં આવ્યો છે.
