Sam Neill, best known for playing Dr. Alan Grant in "Jurassic Park," has died at 78. His death comes just months after he shared he was cancer-free from a rare blood cancer he'd battled for years. 🩸

Neill was diagnosed with angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma in 2022. He went through chemotherapy and later a newer treatment called CAR-T cell therapy, which helped him reach remission and, eventually, cancer-free status this past April. His family says his death was "sudden and unexpected," but that he remained cancer-free.
