Did you know that a traditional, family-style Lao meal revolves around sticky rice? It is usually served with a "jeow"—a tasty sauce made from tomatoes or smoked eggplant—along with a soup, meat, and vegetables. Sweet mango sticky rice dessert is a favorite on the menu, as well as papaya salad, laab, and chicken lemongrass. 😋
