"I know it’s a bit of a trope to say that no country is a monolith, but with so much international news nowadays focusing people’s attention on geopolitics, it’s easy to see countries like China as monolithic shapes on a map. For our students, this program aims to replace a monolithic image of China with a mosaic of unique individuals and places as they travel around the country."
