Heroes rarely know who’s watching.

Meet Matheus Henrique, better known as “Cabelo” — which means “Hair” in Portuguese — a 13-year-old goalkeeper from Atlético Monte Azul in Brazil.

In 2025 alone, he played 97 matches, conceding just 75 goals — a reflection of his dedication, consistency, and love for the game.

Then came the FIFA World Cup. @fifaworldcup 🏆

Like millions around the world, Cabelo watched Vozinha and the Cape Verde national team make history.

But one moment stayed with him forever…

Vozinha’s unforgettable save against Spain.

When Cabelo realized he had made a remarkably similar save the year before, he recreated the moment and sent a heartfelt message asking for one simple thing:

For his hero to see his tribute.

He wasn’t asking for fame.
He wasn’t asking for anything in return.
He simply wanted Vozinha to know that a young goalkeeper in Brazil had been inspired by him.

After receiving his message, I spoke directly with Cabelo’s parents and then with Cabelo himself.

Now, I’m honored to help make sure this tribute reaches Vozinha personally.

And maybe that is what makes this story even more beautiful.
