Every historic team has a leader.

For Cabo Verde, that leader is 𝑩𝑼𝑩𝑰𝑺𝑻𝑨.

A former national team captain who returned to lead from the touchline, he transformed belief into history. Under his leadership, Cabo Verde reached its first-ever FIFA World Cup and inspired a generation of Cape Verdeans across the islands and throughout the diaspora.

His legacy isn’t measured only by results.

It’s measured by the pride, unity, and belief he gave an entire nation.

Thank you, Coach 𝑩𝑼𝑩𝑰𝑺𝑻𝑨, for leading one of the greatest chapters in Cabo Verdean football history.
