They promised to support her dreams. Instead, they allegedly turned her life into a nightmare.

This PhD scholar believed marriage would be the beginning of a new chapter where she could continue her education. But according to her account, the promises quickly disappeared. She says she was subjected to constant har@ssment, pressured to abandon her studies, and repeatedly taunted over dowry.

The violence allegedly escalated on November 30, 2025. What began as an argument reportedly turned into a brutal ass@ult. She says that after calling her father for help, she was allegedly cornered on a balcony and thrown from a height of around 30 feet. She survived with severe injuries, including a brain hemorrhage and multiple fractures.

Authorities later investigated the case, and the alleged attempt to portray the incident as a su!cide came under scrutiny. Today, she is speaking out—not only to seek justice for herself, but to encourage others facing abuse to know they are not alone.

No degree, no dream, and no human being should ever be punished with violence. If even one person finds the courage to ask for help because of her story, sharing it matters.
