## Caption

Hitting balls with western grip from a semi western sure has its challenges but it isn't too much of an adjustment for me. Here's a summary: 

1) I have to consistently hit the balls in front of me. Late contact point means balls hitting to the floor/net.

2) i have to swing more forward. I did enjoy working on this. It sure gives a lot of spin to the ball and makes it an aggressive shot. 

3) Topspin generated from this grip REALLY helped to keep the ball inside the lines! ALTHOUGH, there are quite a few times that ball goes out during an actual game and I am late to hit the contact point. I still need to know why my racket is facing up by taking videos. 

I know there's a lot of debate about using western grip or the extreme western ones compared to a semi western (normally used by pros). My stand would be... whatever works for your style of play, just do it. 😊
