Jennifer Garner is opening up about life under the constant watch of the paparazzi, spoiler alert...it’s far from glamorous. 😬

On the latest episode of the ‘Shut Up Evan’ podcast, Garner reflected on teaming up with actress Halle Berry in 2013 to push for new California laws aimed at protecting children from aggressive photographers.

She explained that the paparazzi presence became so overwhelming that one of her child’s soccer organizations asked their family to stop attending games because so many photographers and vehicles would show up.

Garner also recalled just how dangerous the situation became, saying, “If I went through a yellow light, 15 cars would go through the red behind me. They would drive up on people’s lawns, even on a hillside… it wasn’t just about us. It was an industry that had gotten out of control.” 😣

One moment from the interview that has fans especially talking is Garner’s surprising admission that she’s developed what she described as a “stockholm syndrome” relationship with one paparazzo who has followed her for nearly 20 years. She said the two have ultimately developed an “odd respect” for each other despite their complicated history.
