20+ years. Same result: kids who leave better than they came.

Though my experience as a player , coach and successful person is vast , I don’t hold up a resume for validation. I don’t need to. Anybody with two working eyes can watch what we do for 20 minutes and see the difference for themselves. That’s the only proof that’s ever mattered to me.

But here’s the part nobody talks about

When you’re consistent, when you get results, when kids and families choose to walk with you instead of somewhere else, it makes some people uncomfortable. So the gossip starts. The whisper campaigns. People with self-serving agendas trying to talk families out of a decision that was never theirs to make. People who don’t know me, never sat in a gym with me, never watched me work, trying to protect their own interests by tearing down mine.

I’m not worried about it. I never have been.

Show me someone with something negative to say? I’ll show you the exact moment I said no. 

I will point out the moment I stood up for what I believed in. The moment I refused to be a yes man just to keep the peace. That’s not a weakness in my story, that’s the whole point of it. I didn’t build this by going along with everything. I built it by standing on something.

That’s what we teach here. Not obedience, critical and independent thinking. 

We teach these young athletes to use their own minds, form their own opinions, and tune out the noise from people who have no stake in their future. Because the ones talking loudest about you are rarely the ones who showed up for you.

Which is why i always teach kids to learn to Ignore the haters. They only give you credit when they can take it.

We’ll keep doing what we’ve always done, continue to put in the work, get the results, and let that speak for itself.
