I'm paraphrasing a quote I heard from  lauraegocheaga 

The New Age movement is full of false promises, bullshit, and patched-together solutions that sell people a dream.

People think healing can be found at a luxury retreat, or that transformation happens when someone is bringing you breakfast in a pool full of flowers.

That might be true for a small portion of the population, but in reality, healing is rarely glamorous.

It requires you to face the ugly parts of yourself, dig into the darkness, and practice a level of discipline that is uncomfortable. And it probably isn't going to be as fun as they'd like to sell it.

Understand one thing:

No ceremony, psychedelic experience, or quick fix will ever do more for you than the discipline you refuse to practice.

Real transformation isn't purchased. It's earned through consistent action, radical honesty, and the willingness to do the work long after the inspiration fades.
