Sunday Recap from Cup Karts North America North Round 1!

▪The junior trio of Sam Tutwiler Racing, Ollie Rocket Racing, and Rail Racing were strong all weekend. Will lead the way qualifying second and maintained that pace all day coming home with a top 5 finish, great job will! Sam & Izayah had some work to do in the heat races, and they did just that. They made up spots in both the heat race and the feature to end up 10th and 11th!

▪Doug Cook - C4 Karting had a stellar weekend in Legends racing for the lead on Saturday and Sunday coming away with two second place finishes. Don Harrington made major gains all weekend aboard his Comet Eagle, coming away with a 12th-place finish in a really competitive legends field!

▪Team Owner Aj Roderick found major speed Sunday afternoon after driving through the medium field. Aj was the hard charger in the heat race passing 6 karts and passing 3 more in the final to come away with a solid 4th place finish. 

▪ Cody Svoboda made some changes and came alive Sunday! Cody was the hard charger in the senior heavy heat passing 4 karts to finish 4th. After a great start in the final, and running 3rd for most of the race, Cody still finished a strong 7th. 

▪The brother-sister duo had another top 10 day finishing 8th & 9th. Tanner was really strong all day running up front in the lead pack for most of the feature, while Emily had to pick her away around a few karts to get to his bumper coming to the line. The speed was there for both of them, just need a little more luck on the start! Emily DeMaster 

▪Last but not least, Alyssa Eddy joined us this weekend for coaching and rounded out the weekend on the podium in third! So much learning between the track, a new kart, and moving up to Sportsman, she exceeded lap time goals and ran a great feature to get herself on the podium! Jason Dan Eddy
