Happy Monday my beautiful people! I’m on Day 6 of my 30 Hard!!! But you know I start the week off with a little something something to carry your thoughts through the week! 

You’ve been accepting breadcrumbs and calling it a meal.

You’ve been settling your whole life — in relationships where you’re doing all the emotional labor, in jobs where you’re paid less than your worth, in situations where you shrink to make other people comfortable. And you learned to call it compromise. You learned to call it love.

But settling isn’t noble. It’s just slow disappearance.

Here’s what nobody tells you: standards aren’t walls. They’re boundaries. They’re not about being difficult or demanding. They’re about knowing your worth and refusing to negotiate it.

The people who are bothered by your standards? They’re bothered because they were benefiting from your low ones.

I spent years accepting the bare minimum and thanking people for it. I was teaching people how to treat me. And I was teaching them my worth was negotiable.

It wasn’t until I started having real conversations — with myself and with coaches who challenged me — that I realized I’d been the one lowering my own standards.

The moment I raised them? Everything changed. Better people arrived. Not because I was mean. But because I finally knew I was worth something.
