Whew! #YG was briefly detained Thursday morning after law enforcement executed a SWAT-assisted search warrant as part of the ongoing investigation into the late #DrakeoTheRuler’s 2021 killing. According to TMZ_tv, the California Highway Patrol led the operation with assistance from the Burbank SWAT team. Officers detained YG while conducting the search, but he was later released and not arrested.

Authorities say the search warrant was served at a property connected to YG as investigators continue looking into Drakeo’s fatal stabbing backstage at the Once Upon a Time in L.A. festival in December 2021. As we previously reported, Drakeo passed after being attacked by a large group backstage.
