🎾 BESPOKE LTA LEVEL 1 COACHING COURSE — NOW LIVE 🎾

We’re excited to officially launch this year’s LTA Level 1 Assistant Course delivered in partnership with Virtus 🎉

Over the last few years, one of our biggest goals at Black Tennis Mentors has been creating more accessible pathways into coaching for people from ethnically diverse and underrepresented backgrounds within tennis.

This course is ideal for:

🎾 Future tennis coaches 
🎾 Keen to work with children and young people
🎾 Mentors & community leaders 
🎾 Players wanting to give back 
🎾 Individuals interested in community sport and leadership

📍Course Dates & Locations:

Day 1 - Thursday 16th July 2026 (On Court at Butterfly Tennis Club) 
Day 2 - Thursday 6th August 2026 (On Court Butterfly Tennis Club) 
Day 3 - Thursday 13th August 2026 (Coursework / Assessment Support Day at Bromley Tennis Centre)

⚠️ IMPORTANT 

This year we’ve added an additional support day to help everyone with coursework completion, assessments and practical support throughout the course process

Time:

8:30am - 4:30pm all 3 days

Cost 

Through Virtus and with additional support from Surrey Tennis through their Inclusivity Fund supporting coaches from ethnically diverse backgrounds towards the course, this course will be reduced from £250 to £50

Age

Minimum 16 years old 

This year’s programme will also include:

✅ Mentoring throughout the process
✅ Practical coaching experience opportunities
✅ Pathways into future coaching qualifications & paid opportunities
