POV: Breaking up with the idea that I need a plus-one to enjoy 5 stars.

Don’t be afraid to treat yourself and go solo to a nice restaurant. Tbh, it was my first time doing this. I went on @disneycruiseline on The Wish with my kids and still wanted the adult-only premium dining experience. Although I went with friends, I didn’t want to be the 3rd wheel and it’s not every day you can have a nice dinner without your kids. 😝 And I wanted that for myself too! 

It was a delicious meal at Palo Steakhouse (or Steakship?). I got a cozy booth to myself and interesting enough, I could hear everyone’s conversations with how the acoustics was set up. 🤭 No regrets in going. It was a beautiful and satisfying time!

Some things are better alone than with someone that pulled you down. ✌️ 

I’ve gone to the movie theatre, Disneyland, watched a musical, and learned a new hobby (ice hockey) alone or by myself. It’s an experience I think that’s healthy and you should try. See how comfortable you are on your own, where your thoughts take you, and how you feel. 😌
