Regripping my racquet and reflecting on tennis feels! 🎁🎾 After 3 months of playing, here are 3 things I’ve learned:
1️⃣ It’s never too late to start! Tennis really is for EVERY age. I see kids, teens, adults, and older players on the court. It’s great to see a big age range of players. It really encourages me and it’s cool to see! Those seasoned players…don’t underestimate them, because they can SMASH the ball! 💥👏
2️⃣ Getting out the door is the hardest part, but once I’m there, I have NEVER regretted it. Some days I’m busy, tired, or tempted to stay home… but every single time I make the effort to play, I am glad I did, and always leave the court feeling great.
3️⃣ The physical and mental benefits are real. Tennis has been such a game-changer with positive changes I’m seeing. I feel stronger, more clear-headed, and happier.
All that to say… I’m really glad I chose tennis as my new hobby, and I keep coming back to it! 🫶 If you’ve been thinking about trying something new, let this be your sign. The new year is coming up and it’s the perfect time to use tennis as your reason to pick up a racquet and achieve those goals. Give it a go! 🎾💛
