Yesterday, our students had the opportunity to Zoom with Alan Gratz, the New York Times bestselling author of seventeen novels for young readers!  

Students read Alan Gratz's latest novel, "Ground Zero."  This story focuses on the effects of September 11th from the perspectives of a nine-year-old boy in New York City and a young girl growing up in Afghanistan.  Students asked Alan Gratz about his novel and the writing process.
