Lukas Kurtz, a 2007 Defenseman is entering his second season of Junior Hockey after completing his first as a Trappers rookie. Kurtz had the following to say about his development during his first season with the organization: 

“Playing for the Trappers gave me a sense of purpose, and a sense of responsibility I haven’t found on other teams. The program has expanded my skills and has shown me what aspects of my game I need to focus on to become the player I want to be”.

The Trappers are entering the tenth season as a Junior organization and the first season in the new BCHC—British Columbia’s Hockey Canada Sanctioned Jr’A’ league.
