Vice President JD Vance and second lady Usha Vance announced Sunday the birth of their fourth child, Alec Neel Vance. The newborn is the first child born to a sitting U.S. vice president in more than 150 years and joins siblings Ewan, 9, Vivek, 6, and Mirabel, 4.

Authorities in Tucson, Arizona, are investigating a mass shooting that left nine people injured early Sunday morning. Police said officers who were patrolling the downtown area heard gunfire and responded immediately. The suspected gunman was shot by officers and was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. Frank Magos of the Tucson Police Department said officers "immediately began running toward the sound."

White House border czar Tom Homan renewed his support for body-worn cameras following fatal shootings involving federal officers in Texas and Maine earlier this month, saying Sunday, "I think body cameras are the way to go."
