black history month may be over… but legacy doesn’t expire.

Dr. Marvin Poston faced adversity in optometry school, helped build what became vsp vision insurance, and served as a state board leader, shifting access to eye care for generations.

as a uc berkeley optometry grad, walking past his face on the hall of fame wall was everything to me!

black history doesn’t end. it continues in how we move forward.
