Andy Burnham is officially the UK’s new PM as of today 🇬🇧
Many of you must be wondering, does this change anything for the Innovator Founder visa or new founders? Short answer: nothing official yet. No rule changes, no fee changes, no endorsing body updates today.

But his speeches over the last month give a real hint of direction, “Innovation Nation,” Good Growth Funds for regional start-ups, and “Manchesterism” (his whole growth-built-outside-London philosophy). 

And honestly, his repeated focus on skills and regional training is a genuine gap aspiring founders could build into. If you’re thinking of an innovative idea in the founder-education / regional-accelerator space, this is a tailwind worth watching.
