Today is Black Women's Equal Pay Day. Let's stop using terms like "catching up." Every cent lost to the wage gap is stolen wealth—money stripped from Black women's hands that they will never get back. 💔

The systemic numbers don't lie:
📌 65¢ – Paid to full-time Black women for every $1 paid to white men.
📌 63¢ – The gap when looking at all Black women earners.
📌 56¢ – The devastating gap faced by Black mothers compared to white fathers.
📌 59% – What Black women with professional degrees earn compared to white men with the same credentials.

This isn't a pipeline problem; it's a structural barrier. And it's being made worse by administrative attacks.

Just this week marks the 17th anniversary of a frozen federal minimum wage at $7.25/hr. Meanwhile, data shows Black women lost a net total of 113,000 jobs in 2025 as diversity programs were dismantled and federal layoffs targeted equity.

Now, the USEEOC wants to kill EEO-1 demographic data collection so corporations can hide this discrimination in the dark.

We are fighting back. We demand salary transparency, a living wage, and protection for workers.
