Great Wolf Lodge Poconos! 

Why is Great Wolf Lodge Poconos the perfect place for tweens and teens and tired parents needing a rest? Because it’s a one stop shop vacation destination with everything you need in one place! Just park and go in. Plus, complimentary wolf ears in the gift shop!

greatwolflodge has dance parties, spacious rooms with a lounge area and balconies, lots of places to sit and hang out (perfect for older kids granted some vacation freedom), restaurants, bars, mini golf, a bowling alley, a 24-hour arcade, a ropes course, an outdoor pool with live entertainment (flyinblindband we loved you), specialty drinks, a mirror maze (we went THREE times), and MagiQuest, an interactive scavenger hunt that kept my son engaged and coming back. We opted for the Wolf Pass which upgraded our stay to include all of the above activities - plus ice cream and candy!

The indoor water park had tons of tween and teen approved rides they could go on themselves while I read in the room (and took a scandalous vacation nap!). I could also watch them in the pool and on the zipline from the balcony while relaxing with a cup of coffee. There were lifeguards everywhere so I had nothing to worry about, except a little r & r.

I’ll be honest, I was expecting this trip to be fun, but not expecting to leave feeling well rested, relaxed,  and ready to start my week, but I was! The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfy, we ate breakfast at Timbers Table & Kitchen (the buffet with a fan favorite omelet bar), dinner at Fireside, and had drinks at The Outpost by the pool. It was really a wonderful trip.

We stayed two nights celebrating my son’s birthday but had three full days of resort fun. Vacation starts as soon as you check-in and ends when you’re ready to leave - even after you check out. Or, add late check out like us and make your weekend feel like a true mini-vacation!

Thank you Great Wolf Lodge for having us! The drive was short from Long Island but the memories we made will last a long time.
