## Caption

The Sisters Rodeo Queen tryouts will be held at the Sisters Rodeo arena on Sunday, September 6th, 2026. Contestants arrive by 9 am, and horsemanship will begin at 10 am. Interviews will begin at 11 am or sooner if possible. The public is invited to attend at 11 am to watch the speeches and crowning; light refreshments will be served.

The tryouts are open to young women who are Oregon residents and are ages 18 through 25 as of June 1st of the year they are trying out. Entrants will be judged on horsemanship, speech, personality/interviews, and appearance.

The young woman chosen as Queen will receive a custom-made buckle, wardrobe, and will be awarded the Sally Leavitt Queen Scholarship of $2500.00 for her continued education. She will represent the Sisters Rodeo Association at rodeos throughout the state and will be hostess to other courts and royalty during our 87th Annual Sisters Rodeo.
