📈 WOMACH HELPS LEAD LAKE-LEHMAN’S CONTINUED RISE‼️🥍

Lake-Lehman rising senior midfielder Sara Womach caught up with NEPA Lacrosse after being selected to the 2026 NEPA Lacrosse Girls All-District Team.

Womach finished her junior season with 49 goals and 38 assists for 87 points, while also winning 74 draw controls.

She ranked No. 73 overall in Pennsylvania and No. 14 among rising seniors in draw-control wins on the palaxnews statewide leaderboard.

Womach also reached several major career milestones during the season, surpassing 100 goals, 200 points and 250 draw controls. She said those accomplishments remind her how far she has come since beginning lacrosse at a young age, while also showing how much room she still has to grow.

She earned WVC Coaches’ First Team All-Conference honors and helped Lake-Lehman finish 9-4 in conference play, tied for fourth place. The Lady Knights then defeated neighboring rival Dallas, 7-5, in the District 2 quarterfinals before advancing to the semifinals.

Womach said the postseason run was eye-opening because Lake-Lehman remains a relatively young team. She credited the Lady Knights’ connection across the field and their determination to win, and believes the result showed what the program can continue building toward next spring.

From the midfield, Womach takes pride in pushing transition, moving the ball quickly and creating opportunities for her teammates through cuts, off-ball picks and spacing.

She also discussed the growth of her confidence, particularly as a shooter and with her left hand. Womach said additional practice and time alongside her teammates have helped her become more comfortable trusting her skills.

After serving as a captain for the past two seasons, she enters her senior year as one of Lake-Lehman’s most experienced players. Womach wants to use that experience to help the Lady Knights’ younger players feel comfortable, improve their stick skills and continue developing within the program.

Womach recently completed her club season with NEPA Impact and is committed to continue her academic and athletic career at Division II West Chester University.
