📈 DENAPLES BATTLES BACK, BREAKS OUT DURING FRESHMAN SEASON‼️🥍

Wyoming Seminary freshman attack Natalina DeNaples caught up with NEPA Lacrosse after being named the 2026 NEPA Lacrosse Girls Co-Breakout Player of the Year.

DeNaples made an immediate impact during her first varsity season, finishing with 49 goals, seven assists, 20 ground balls, 21 draw controls and five caused turnovers in only 12 games.

Her production was even more impressive after she missed nearly a month with a midseason injury from April 21 through May 13. DeNaples set a goal of returning for the playoffs, remained an active supporter of her teammates from the sideline and battled back to contribute again late in the season.

She said the experience gave her an even greater appreciation for lacrosse and reinforced the importance of making an impact through more than scoring. DeNaples emphasized winning loose balls and making the smaller plays that can eventually decide a game.

She helped Wyoming Seminary finish third in the WVC and advance to the District 2 semifinals. DeNaples also earned First Team WVC Coaches’ All-Conference honors and was selected to both the 22-player NEPA Lacrosse All-District Team and 10-player Rising Stars Team.

DeNaples has continued competing at a high level this summer with HHH Philly Girls and Boston’s Finest, along with earning another opportunity at American Select. She discussed how facing stronger competition and learning from different coaching styles have helped her adjust and continue developing.

As she looks toward the recruiting process, DeNaples wants college coaches to see a player who gives 110 percent on and off the field, values the extra work away from practices and games, and genuinely wants to contribute to a program.

She is focused on sharpening her dodging, continuing to work through the fall and becoming a more complete player entering her sophomore season.

We talked with Natalina about returning from injury, supporting her teammates while sidelined, impacting games beyond scoring, competing at major summer events, her early recruiting goals and what she wants people to notice about her game next spring.
